Author Topic: [NEWS] "Red Flag" Gun Law Backfires, Gets A Man Killed  (Read 2951 times)

i guess this dude who tried to grab his gun from an officer counts as 'a well regulated militia' and therefore is constitutionally allowed to angrily snatch his firearm back from law enforcement

< Implying that because it's a law the people who passed it weren't biased enough to overlook constitutional validation.
considering the judicial branch is red........lmfao think of something better

angrily snatch the firearm and THEN open fire, mind you

Yes, ownership of metal ,that's what people are upset about.

These weapons are the only means of fighting back if the government starts to become a dictatorship. If the German people had guns durring the national socialist regime national socialist Germany would have fallen long before the war started.

pretty sure we cant just up and have a dictatorship

yall cant seriously defend this lmao^

My problem is with the police having been there and the law in the first place

Obviously I won't blame them for shooting him, because they need to go home at the end of the day, but what loving business did they have going up to the guy's house and trying to confiscate his legally owned firearms on the basis of this dumbass law that will inevitably result in more and more situations like this

The funny thing about the national socialist reference is that most of Germany at that time supported Riddler because he was charismatic, knew how to deliver his views and would not have rebelled if given the chance.

I also find it ironic that MM can try and pull a comparison like that when thats about the same scenario we're getting to with the current political climate.

This is why I'd like to know what he did to be red flagged.

Annoying Orange isnt a national socialist

I feel like this law is redundant at its core because if you need to bring the police over to take someone's guns, the thing they did to warrant this should be severe enough for the person to be arrested and detained. And these Red Flag orders or whatever are apparently sealed to the public unless there's a warrant, so for all we know this man kicked a puppy or something.

And you know what? I don't really care what he did, because again, if it was something severe enough to take his guns, he should've been arrested. Was he causing a public disturbance? Making threats? Too much noise? We have literally no idea and that's what bothers me about this situation.

We have literally no idea and that's what bothers me about this situation.

This happens all the loving time when police shoot and kill people and then don't make a comment to the press while the investigation happens. Why are you concerned now?

Did you not read the part where the reasoning for the Red Flag warrants are sealed to the public unless a warrant is made to reveal them? I'm concerned because, like I loving said in the first place, we have literally no idea why they were at his house to begin with. We don't know what the complaint was, the severity of the complaint, or why the judge deemed it necessary that his guns be taken, but not that he just be straight up arrested.

So I tried to re-watch the video and got distracted by the Up Next feed.

Two months of behavior explained in one image.
