What a loving AWFUL package delivery service. I cannot believe how stuffty they are.

I ordered a knife online, BOUGHT 2 day shipping. Should've arrived Wednesday but I understand there was no service due to the funeral of George Bush. Thursday? nope. Friday? nope. Called them, confirmed that they LOST MY PACKAGE. Tracking it, it tells me that it arrived in my city, but never made it onto the truck. But apparently thats not their fault. I am so loving frustrated right now.

You can either A.) Get a refund or B.) Ask for another one.

I have asked for a refund but they refuse to own up to their mistake. I can't order another one because they're out of stock and very rare.

you can almost definitely get a refund on this if you dont piss them off by being overly demanding - they lost your stuff and owe you it. dont give up yet, you probably just need to talk to the right person.

probably ask why "making it onto the truck" is not their responsibility, and who is responsible - those people are liable for your purchase

Ups is pure dogstuff, not a week goes by without me having to tell some poor fool that the 1200 cellphone he bought was lost in shipping.

thats how you do it??? make the claim??? that way it will go through their standard claims process and get put on the books properly

sure maybe its a garbage, broken, unreliable system and other delivery companies may not require it to be done that way, but are you just going to give up on at least getting your $315 back?

Of course not. I filed a claim right away

UPS is stuff, only do USPS or FedEx, forget those black and gold friends

I’ve never had a problem with UPS. USPS on the other hand, is a loving mess. Failed deliveries, misplaced packages, untrained delivery persons. UPS delivers in my area on the dot and the delivery guy is great.


I guess I'm lucky enough to live somewhere where all the delivery employees actually value their jobs because I haven't had issues with UPS, USPS, or FedEx

We used to have a great USPS delivery guy, super punctual. But he retired and now they throw in guys that barely have training.
