Haha! Same. I got so angry that my fine crafted, easy to exit shafts were destroyed. They were at least 2 spaces wide, and you could go straight up to reach the surface quickly and easily (despite the un-breakable rocks and lava pockets).

But really, how do I beat the final boss?

Anyone ever play the full version? If you fly into the sky, eventually you get to god. Also, you can find advanced parts. The advanced gas tank never gets empty! :D
