It seems politics is a pretty popular topic for the off topic board. Should a new board specifically for political discussion be a thing?

this is a bad idea.
this will basically become the equivalent of what the creative board is.

An option to keep "creative" threads separate from off-topic, ultimately killing discussion and interaction because off-topic is far more active.

I think it would be a great thing. People wouldn't have to worry about their political threads getting stuff on by the people who go to off topic for fun.

Well, Ive noticed that quite a few users who come to off topic dont come for politics.
So Id think it'd be a good idea to give you your own space for it. Less derails.
