Here SEGA/Paramount, how about a quick and easy tutorial on how to trailer:
Step 1. Don't use pop music from nearly 2 decades ago in a movie for today if you're not targeting a nostalgia driven audience.
Step 2. Even SEGA didn't decide to redesign Sonic for SONIC 06. Just leave him alone. The last time SEGA redesigned sonic everyone was loving volatile, and all they did was make his legs longer and give him a handkerchief.
Step 3. Regardless of nostalgia pandering, use some SONIC MUSIC for forget sake. I'm sure it's cheaper to get the rights to those and it fits with the content.
and I'm not talking like Genesis Era, I mean you could use anything from Dreamcast Era onward. Hell, use His World, it'll probably fit.
Honestly though, if Jim Carrey was Dr. Eggman in Sonic 06 that game may have had atleast one valuable thing to see past the title screen and the soundtrack cd.
