So why are we making abortions illegal still?

We don't need to repopulate the world. We have enough loving people living on this planet

A good argument in my mind is the fact that elderly people are slowly starting to outweigh young people in America, which means we aren't having enough babies to compensate for deaths. But you could argue that the population perhaps needs to shrink either way, so this isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Old people are living longer.

Kids are dying more because their mom is an anti-vaxx mom.

in vitro meat would shift more focus on the harvesting of amino acids, carbohydrates and sodium based preservatives which would result in a drastic reduction to slaughterhouses and a drastic increase in tomato, soy and wheat farms

population growth/growth decline is well documented and actually stabilizing worldwide. the reason for the worrying initial runaway growth is that in the past child mortality rates used to be very high so high birth rates were needed to keep the population stable. due to the industrial revolution that changed and the population shot up drastically as families hadn't yet adapted to the changing times.

the average rate in countries worldwide is dropping pretty steadily to somewhere between 1.5 to 2 births per family; in the US, we already have negative population growth through births (but it is offset by immigration). even countries like india are dropping down to 2 births/family on average, down from like 6 or 8 in the 1980's or something.

Abortion isn't a good solution to overpopulation, the problem is 3rd world stone-age civilizations having like 12 children per woman because they haven't invented contraception yet. We should honestly be having more babies and carpet bombing more middle eastern countries

He's not wrong though except for carpet bagging middle easterners.

Because bombing people from the middle east is turning them into refugees and they are fleeing to other countries where they are over populating in them.

otherwise if they weren't being bombed they would still be in their own country. Now they are over populating, germany, italy, france, etc
