Is mouse and keyboard smooth on console?

Those who do M+K on console, is it like playing on PC? I was looking for an adapter for my PS4 but there are some people who say its like "controlling a controller with M&K" while other people have no problems.

its not like controlling a controller with a mp40 i promise its really good once you bind the controls well and get a good adapter
