get a life
this is not ray tracing
im arguing that you dont know what you are talking about and are using ray tracing as a blanket term for stuff like eye tracking
you initially argued that ray tracing is not revolutionary because it renders stuff but because
its indeed the blurring of anything your eyes are not looking at, like the real life equivalent. This is achieved with an eyetracker. It allows the blurred textures to be lower res and the blurred objects to load a lower LOD model
which is not the case, ray tracing
doesn't do this. this is not what ray tracing is at all
and hes just trying to backpedal with random papers that have nothing to do with what he claimed initially
Aide why you getting in a knot over this
because he "destroyed" me by posting a paper that literally had nothing to do with the point of conversation, I find that incredibly disingenuous and a sign that he doesn't really understand those papers at all
