Help Fixing 3 Small but Annoying Problems

First Problem-
When I open up Blockland, the main menu screen comes up as normal, but the title is missing.  It's supposed to display BLOCKLAND in big letters, but it just displays a white rectangular box.  I've had this problem since I bought Blockland, and the thing is it displayed the title in the demo version.  I was experiencing problems with add-ons so I re-installed the game, but the title still doesn't appear.  Do I need to download the pic?

Second Problem-
I've been trying to take videos while I play, and it says when I press the record button that it's recording, and when I press the stop button it says it's finished recording, but when I choose demos from the main screen, and I chhse to play the demo I just recorded, the mouse freezes, but the background slideshow keeps going, and my computer is fine.  Then after about thirty seconds, the useless "Send an Error Report" box pops up.  It says at the top, "Blockland.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience."  No idea how to fix.

Third Problem-
This problem is not so small.  I have so much lag its not even funny.  It seems as though if I face any set of bricks over 100 count, my fps gets sliced in half.  When I build alone, it's still pretty laggy but not as bad.  In city builds in general, I get 2.5 fps if I'm lucky.  I have all the lowest possible settings.  I'm thinking that changing my network options from cable to something else would help, but I doubt it.  I'm sure its my graphics card, which is a VIA/S3G UniChromell Graphics (piece of trash plugged into a computer).  I have an AMD Sempron processor (not even sure if its dual core).  My internet provider is Insight Broadband, not 10.0 I don't think.  If there's ANY way to fix this I'd be overjoyed to hear it.

Thanks for reading this, and I'd hope you guys could find a solution to some of these.

I don't know about the first two problems but for the third, your graphics card is CRAP. Nothing you can do about that except get a new graphics card. Also your processor is not dual core and from what research I have done, it has a maximum speed of only 2.2 GHz. Also how much ram do you have? Anything less then 512 MB could be a reason for the lag.

Thanks StarcraftMan.  Now to find a decent under $500 graphics card.  (By the way, I know you can modify your own posts... the help section says so... but where's the button?)

It is very easy to find a decent graphics card for under $500 (U.S). but it depends if you have PCI-e or AGP. If you have AGP then your choices for graphics cards are very limited because all new graphics cards are PCI-e and AGP cards were stopped being produced a while ago so if you have AGP I think its time you upgrade your computer. Also there is no edit/modify button in the help section for some reason.

Nobody's got anything else??

Do you have AGP or PCI-e?

If your computer is AGP, your better off getting a new computer. Make sure that:

1. At LEAST 512 MB of RAM, no less. Otherwise Blockland will lag a hell lot.
2. A graphics card made within the past year or so.
3. A good CPU (Doesn't have to be dual core, but at least 1.9 GHz power)

yeah i have PCI-e.  i think i'm just better off getting a new computer.

If your computer is new enough to have a PCI-e then you probably wont need a new computer. Post its specs first though.

S3 UniChrome is an integrated graphics chip (and yes, it is the source of your framerate issues).  Be sure that you actually have a PCI-E slot before buying anything (note that this is different from PCI).  If you do and you're prepared to spend the money, I recommend an nVidia 8800 GT 512mb which can be had for about $200 on newegg.

Problem 2-You can't fix that. Demo's don't work on %95 of computers. they suck.

in other words, IGNORE THEM!

There's no point in getting a cutting edge graphics when all he wants to do is play Blockland. Untill you get a new computer I would get a Geforce 6600 its $44 and can play anything up to Half-Life 2 but phails at anything newer.

Well I mean I'd really like playing other games... more specifically Gmod, HL Series, Tribes Vengeance, and maybe WoW.  Now about the RAM mentioned earlier by Gen. Nick.  I know you can buy 2Gb for about $40 and just plug it into you computer, but can I access the programs on my RAM and clean it up a little?  Btw thanks for all your guys' help

Can someone give me the the BLOCKLAND pic from problem 1?

But, if you have a stuffty processor among other things if you put a nice graphics card in there will be huge performance bottlenecks so it be any faster. If thats the case then your much better off just getting a whole new computer.

My Geforce 6600 runs HL2 and Garry's Mod on Medium-High settings.
