usually i make topics for neat ideas, questions, or 'important news' (like the sonic the hedgehog movie)

if my math is correct then i start topics at a rate of about 0.03 per day, or roughly just under one a month; far more often than i'd have guessed from memory. guess i used to be a far more active thread starter before my hiatus than i realized.
