i don't believe it one bit ngl. i think all (or most) numbers are too low
Friend of mine's mother is an infectious disease specialist at a large hospital and works with the CDC. Our numbers in the United States are too high in terms of deaths that have been attributed TO coronavirus, but at the same time the virus has been in the US for longer than many expect(probably since early February) due to lack of early testing, and there are uncounted deaths and MANY more uncounted cases. I'm getting an antibody test done because I think I had it, and my sister did have it. The virus's actual death rate is pretty low, but it spreads extremely quickly.
China's actual case numbers are exponentially orders of magnitude higher than the United States's. Anyone who says or believes otherwise is doing one of a few things:
A: repeating Facist Chinese propaganda
B: Doesn't know anything about the issue
C: Is actually dumb enough to believe the Chinese government
D: Doesn't understand how diseses spread and how completely loving abnormal the chinese case graph is to everywhere else in the world.
