[W.I.P] 1960s Post-War Ranch Style House

Author Topic: [W.I.P] 1960s Post-War Ranch Style House  (Read 2199 times)

A while ago I started chiseling a model of my late grandmother's house into Blockland. In the meantime I've begun renting said house and had a lot of time to get to know it pretty well. It's almost the same, save for a few artistic (and personal) liberties I've taken with the design. All that said, it is far from finished.

Features:
  • a functioning back door (missing from real life counterpart)
  • a functioning garage door (also missing from real life counterpart)
  • a fully fenced in yard (there's a trend here)
  • an above-ground pool
  • absolutely no furnishings
  • three bedrooms, 1¾ baths
  • working basketball goal!!!! try it!!!!
  • a nice shed

I have used so many bricks and add-ons in this build—most of which I acquired as early as 2015. I would give an exhaustive list of accreditation but every time I think about compiling the information for it I cry a little.

I might take interior pics after I put furnishings, which won't happen until I stop changing the interior around.

Ummmm what the forget..... o _ O

I remember joining your server a few days ago, I love the house it's cozy and very well done.

I remember visiting that house, it's very nice and cozy.

Nice work

It's almost eerie seeing something so realistically detailed as this; like I almost forgot it was BL looking at the images and for a moment could not imagine a blockhead residing in the house, like it had to be a person.

i love these types of simple house builds, it looks fantastic, nice job
