They have to do as their parent company dictates. It's a legitimate reason to do so. Especially when the parent company openly pushes Chinese propaganda through TikTok.

Not being allowed == being US if you do not do what is disallowed in the United States.

Taking actions because of direct interference by china in your company == working for china.
These two arguments do not connect, at all.

People want to claim they'd stand up and fight a national socialist Germany like scenario if it ever came around today. Well here it is. China is putting people in concentration camps, attempting to expand past their borders and territories, and they're pushing their propaganda in other countries by any means they have.
