The plate carrier is relatively cheap for the afforded protection. the Sioen has tons of modularity, a neck proctor, groin protections and ballistic sleeves. ESAPI plates are pretty expensive tho.

Literally the only reason I ask here is because im 99% sure none of the remaining active users are feds. And body Armour isnt illegal in most states?

a quick google search says no in the majority of situations. most state specific regulations, if any, are around selling/buying and sometimes wearing while committing a crime
