Pretty sure it's all rumors and speculation right now, but for some reason people are now acting like Nintendo actually announced or teased their next console (which they haven't)

But regardless, the next Switch having specs similar to a PS4, ergo still being a whole console generation behind, is of no surprise and is always a safe bet to make because that's just how Ninten-does
