I think it has been a little under 5 years since I last played. I'm feeling nostalgic for some blockland big scale Heedicalking (I don't remember how to spell their name) type tdm action. I thought I might start working on something like that to host on the weekends or something now and then.

Anyone have any idea how many people may or may not show up for something like that?
When are people most active these days?
Where is the best place to old get add-ons?
Anything else I should know?

Where is the best place to old get add-ons?

Many "old" add-ons may be, well, old, and outdated, so the best place to get compatible and up-to-date add-ons is Blockland Glass, which is a replacement for the old RTB mod manager we had years ago, and add-ons can either be downloaded in-game using Glass, or from it's website here, although due to some exploit that happened a while back, we can't upload or update mods for the time being, but it's safe to use and download from since being restored

Alternatively, there's still the Add-Ons board that people still use from time to time

It is, but i can't guarantee that every add-on is compatible outside of B4v21 due to anything that was new or changed in/since the shadows and shaders update

Nope; you can change names in rebuilt, but not in retail.

at least a handful of people, maybe one or two dozen on a good day
roughly from 8pm-12am est, give or take a few hours
if you know what you're looking for, the archive, but if you don't and you're just browsing then check out other sites like blockland glass and the rtb archive, and of course the add-ons board on here

add-ons from it might work, but it's not intended for retail blockland, they're for blockland rebuilt which nobody plays anyway
