At this point, I wouldn't be surprised that the other two main RAM manufacturers ditch consumer products as well in order to make gaming an online service. I am feeling very doomer right now. Maybe the rest of the hardware manufacturers will start collaborating with windows and apple to make all new hardware ID paired to a specific OS license so that everyone has to pay for everything in perpetuity.

So many tech bros have deluded themselves into believing AI is literally the second coming of Christ.

They're in for a rude awakening when investors realize it's all just an over advertised Complex Language Prediction Algorithm disguised as intelligence.

I've rarely seen prices fall after a jump like this.
IE the tariff price increases and now that tariffs were suspended, the prices didnt fall, they just put it back at the old prices for the black friday discounts and now they're back up

just earlier this year I bought some ram for this pc I built. it was the 32 gb kit (2x16)



and now HALF of that memory is NEARLY DOUBLE the price?! wow....

to be fair a similar thing happened with GPU's back in late 2020 when the 30 series was launched, due to scalpers and bitcoin miners. only recently have some of those GPU's finally gotten down to or close to msrp. I would wager we will eventually see price drops again but it won't be for a while, probably near the time they release ddr6 ram ... so a few years at least
