I think I should be able to make a decision in early january
my most recent appointment did not have precisely the outcome I'd hoped for, so I haven't made a final decision yet. but if, at my next appointment in early feb, i am granted weight-bearing privileges, or at least a very clear idea of when I may get them, then I'll be able to make a decision. if not, then I probably won't find out more until early march, which is probably too late for me to make these kinds of decisions. so that's my plan. if I have a clear timeline after the next appointment, and it allows for it, i go. in any other case, i dont go
whoa what happened?
I feel kind of bad about my aloof response before but basically i was on my e-bike and i Fell and my leg ended up in just the right (wrong) position to get broke. the tibia had one big fat break in it and the tibia was broken into a few small pieces. it hurt real bad and I went to the ER and they put me in a hospital room overnight and then did surgery on a cat the next morning to add some metal rods to my bones. I was fortunate that the surgery itself went well and that the injury didn't directly affect my joints. the tibia rod required them to enter above my kneecap so I had a big incision there and several smaller ones scattered around the leg. the big one is for sure gonna scar, and the small ones will probably leave little marks, but they'll be a lot less noticeable. I'm gonna add the big one as a marking on my fursona but I'm still thinking about whether to add anything for the little incisions lol
