I usually fall asleep to youtube videos of hikes through the japanese, irish, or canadian countryside. The ones where it is raining is especially pleasant. -10 points for each time a jogger going the opposite direction says "hi" audibly to the cameraman.

speaking of this, has anyone seen how some people sleep in VR? super weird

I'm going to Yosemite National Park for 5 days next week. Hope it'll be fun! I'll post some pictures if i find cool imagery there

I tried this once, it went pretty poorly.
The giant hot electric brick strapped to my face made it pretty uncomfortable.
2.5/10 would not do again.

Maybe when the Steam Frame comes out.

to start, i've been rather fascinated with this unfinished dev level in HOLE

a fairly rocky beach, but Sin Space Engineering's little island makes a nice fishing spot in Cruelty Squad

as the last one i'll mention i liked finding this t-shirt at the beach in Anthology of the Killer

hantavirums is coming

When we were kids, Koden and I loved just kinda roaming around in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage. After we beat the game we kept playing to just run around levels and one of our favorites was Idol Springs, with plenty of fun places to swim around and things to climb and explore.

the hampstervirus is coming all vacations will be shut down

Ohhhh this reminds me of

Grand tour racing for the PS1, specifically the tropical island level, that actually was the inspirations for

My old speedkart track that my partner had helped me build

hantavirus ruined my vacation plans

i feel like we're forgetting the GOAT, destiny islands

I'm going to visit NYC with my partner in october. they lived in brooklyn a few years ago, but they haven't returned since moving, and I haven't been since I was a tiny kid. I'm looking forward to experiencing it as an adult with a fully formed brain, and for them to show me around to places they lived and worked and etc. plus museums and stuff. sometime during the visit we'll take a daytrip to DC to visit the udvar-hazy center and a couple other smithsonian museums. plus meeting up with several friends of either of ours while we're there
Udvar-Hazy Center has been a great time each time I went. Since you're going to be in NYC I'd also recommend the Intrepid museum if you're into airplanes. Both have a Concorde in their collections but you can get a tour of the interior at the Intrepid.
