for ~100 more bucks you could upgrade the cpu to the i7-9700K which gives you 2 more cores and 2 more threads, has a higher boost clock speed + 3 more mb of cache; the very best of the best for that socket being the i9-9900k which is 8 core 16 threads, boost clock of 5 ghz & 16 mb of cache - but one of those cost more than u paid for the whole pc so not really worth it
I might end up doing this but I think for now this is actually going to function extremely well for me. Even when I'm playing at similar FPS as I used to (With far better graphics settings) it's just sooo much more stable.
not bad at all especially for that price. i upgraded early last year having the foresight that prices were about to get super forgety (although it happened for different reasons than i was expecting) and dropped way too much money on my 9800x3d/9070xt/64gb ddr5 system that has appreciated in value by a four-figure amount by this point lol. what you've got is more than capable of running some fun stuff
"Some fun stuff" I don't even actually play that many games that require a super strong system, Arma Reforger is the main one, maybe rust.
It's really nice though to know I'm actually at a pretty average to good framerate for games like CS2, I also can actually use source 2 sdk now.
