Author Topic: Just an idea; metric blockland.  (Read 3002 times)

Just something I randomly thought up:
You know how brick size is base 2, I guess so its more lego-like? What if somebody made metric bricks? It would be easier to build, less math involved, and people who aren't super skilled could line things up perfectly. It would be like this:
1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 (length) and then from those you could make perfectly aligned houses.
It was just an idea, the only thing I can really see that would make it better is everything would line up. Then, of course, there would be some odd bricks, like size 3, 8, 13, 18, 23 in length, so they could truly line up correctly. Its hard to explain, but what do you think?

Should I point out your mistake or should some one else? If you are talking about more bricks like 1x5x1 etc then I agree with you, too many times I just needed a 1x5x1 and other odd bricks to fill those gaps.

I kinda prefer the 4x 8x 32x system.

Aye, I'd like to get a 1x5x1.

less metrics, more odd numbered bricks plz
