My brothers found it. I got into it. They abandoned it about a month later, and so did I. I eventually got bored a few years later and found the old download link. I then learned about RTB from not being able to join a server.
I got RTB, and had a great time with new friends and built many... interesting things (which I know look back to as pieces of crap compared to what I do now). I then got a completely new computer, and lost all RTB data, including my saves. Depressed and devastated, I decided to buy the new, retail Blockland and start over.
So I bought the game. After my brothers saw it, they both bought it as well. We played together again for about a month, then the same result came with Vanilla, and they left soon enough. I, however, stayed and played more. I then found a nice add-on (stunt plane, I believe) and asked where to download it. The answer was 'the forums.' This was the first time I found out about a Blockland community, and after a week of reading the community's posts, I decided to join. I then went on a bumping spree, and quickly learned how to behave.
The end.
tl;dr: Brothers got it, got a new computer, data was lost, bought retail and joined the community.
