Probably not if they use halflife two props and such. You won't be able to play basically any mods with just gmod & portal.(except maybe pirates vikings and knights 2 which only requires source sdk)

Goldeneye: Source works with GMod and Portal, a lot of things do, I'm gonna try OC.
