Yes. If you liked v0002, you will most likely enjoy retail.
It may not have the "memorable times" beta had, but it's certainly worth the buy.
Badspot really polished it and stuff.

the main reason retail blockland rules over 0002 blockland, or even other building games (lol)
is the high amount of bricks you can use before there can be lag.

0002 lags out near 2000 bricks. dont matter how good your net or computer is, and dont matter if you wand or not.
that number is very limiting.
