Is blockland compatible work on Mac OS X leopard without having to reinstall blockland? Im just wondering since I have a leopard disk.

Well,if you had blockland on your  old computer's hardrive then yes,BUT if you had it on a seperate disk, just hook it into the computer.

Im not getting a new computer Im updating the software (by putting the leopard disk into my computer and installing it, but do I have to reinstall blockland?

How about this, if I put blockland on a  blank disk or an external hard-drive, then Ill delete blockland off my computer but still have it on the disk, then install leopard on-to my computer, then insert the disk that has blockland on it into my computer. Will that work?

Im bumping this topic until I get an answer.

If you dont format the disk but just do a upgrade then it will work. I am sure that it will work as the kernel hasnt changed that much i think but i am not a mac freak.

We have Leopard. No problems running Blockland. OSX is not like Windows for most apps (including Blockland) in that apps do not install things in the core OS, indeed all Blockland files and as far as I know even the prefs remain in the Blockland folder. So I can think of no reason why you should need to reinstall Blockland after upgrading to Leopard.

However I would advise anyone doing an OS upgrade to run any disk utility apps you may have (e.g. Disk Warrior) and then do a complete backup to an external firewire HD before upgrading. I recommend SuperDuper for this. If you don't have an external disk, get one. The best feature of Leopard is Time Machine and you will need an external disk to use it. Apart from everything else it is very useful if you want to uninstall a mod which has messed up your Blockland set up.

So its safe installing Leopard (with out doing this

NVM ill install leopard some time but you can still answer the question just above this post.

I installed leopard on my mac and Im having no trouble playing blockland except for bits of lag here and there but that should be my internet connection.
