I would imagine v9's release will come when no new features are to be added and any bugs on features already added have been squashed.  It's impossible to predict a release date with any manner of precision.

I don't where all the hype from v9 came from... apparently you people thing that once it's released it will descend from the heavens in a golden horse-drawn chariot and give you a handjob or something. I'm not saying it's nothing special, just not deserving of all the drooling in anticipation. v9 has some cool features, yes, but I'd have to say it's greatest feature by far are the wrench events which have already been spoiled by Space Guy's imitation.  It's a bigger-than-normal update, and when it comes, it comes. Don't worry yourselves.
