Hey, for all you veterns out their I came here several months ago saying I was gonna buy the game, well I didnt, until now! So im hoping I could get in touch with someone via xfire or in game to "show me the ropes" of the the tutorial didnt teach me.

just pm me or leave me your xfire if your willing to hel

my xfire- iamlegend2900

i cant play for few days till some new rams come in mail, i keep crashing games ; ;
i would hang with you.

dont get into the habbit of always only joining minigame servers.
the open free build servers are great social places.

quick question, I was just on the dogfight server, and was wondering is it normal that if your in a plane it lags really bad whenever you pass by a enemy base or whatever?

and is my computer ok to handle this game?

1024 ram
pentium 4
3.2 ghz
radeon 9550 128mb

thanks again

its the server... it has so many bricks (1x1s) and weapons/weapon emitters

if it helps decide when im with the red army team, when I go out to the hanger section of the base and look toward to the resistance team it lags

so its the server and everyone else has this problem? Because I dont want to have just spent 20$ and have it lag like this everytime I play a huge action game

most of your comp is fine.
but the video card  it depends.
any card 128m is iffy about lag. JUST becoming outdated for games, but can deal them on low settings no problem.

if you find you lag when near and looking at large amount of bricks, then its video lag, not network.
start by turning down in game resolution little by little till you find it runs better. click off other graphics settings could help to.

you should have no problem playing blockland, but higher graphics settings might give problems sometimes.

I'm also new, and that tutorial is pretty bare-bones.  There's a lot of stuff-- add-ons and social, mostly-- that are tough to pick up.  I'm getting it slowly, but it would be nice if the FAQ here had a little more meat.

well I have a radeon 9250 256mb should I try that out?

Can i ask what you found ineffective about the tutorial?
