Author Topic: Just until RTB2 comes out...  (Read 3672 times)

I've built a temporary Blockland mod hosting service at http://www.blockland.org.

It's good (scripted by me), and has fast server speeds.

Enjoy it, but I'm sad to say this will go away once RTB2 comes out.

If there is any suggestions or comments, feel free to post them!

Thanks,

Nice, Thanks :)

edit: but if it has good download speeds why don't you just leave it up?

I just don't feel good with competing against Ephilates and the RTB team.

I'm just sick of waiting for good hosting for mods. I HATE Mediafire with a passion.

Update- I've added the feature where when you pass the Spam Protection- you'll never have to do it again.

I know typing in 'badspot' over and over again will get on some peoples nerves.

I like it. I like you. I wanna get fun-kay tonight.

Mmm...

Doesn't having only one response to a challenge and only being required to pass the challenge once void the purpose of the spam protection?

For computers, it would. I've had times where I've had bots upload many things to my sites. I'm a bit paranoid; and I will change the question constantly.

No i mean, right now I could easily have some little cron+php job uploading files to your website every second. You should have a random rota of questions or a CAPTCHA image if you're that paranoid about bots.

My version of Green Hills is too big.

Max file size changed to 10mb.

Look good and solid, but I have nothing to test this with.

Just when you need to post a mod/map, go to it.

Tom

I just noticed that you posted this twice.

Yeah, I was hoping to get the word out.

Uhh... the server gives you a direct file download link (ex. blockland.org/file.zip).
