Author Topic: Lord Tony's castle finished (great for minigames)  (Read 3429 times)

This is my 2nd build i ever made it took about 2 weeks to make but about 1 week in hours there is 18085 bricks total, it has over 20 rooms and 3 floors. This castle is great for DM, TDM, CTF, seige, RPG (if you take out room decorations and make players rent a room) and many more mini games. More pictures will be added soon

Hellshero and I built this castle I started the castle i did all of the dungeon, tower most of the hill, most of the first floor and the enemy camp, hells did the 2nd floor most of the top of the castle, part of the hill, the tree, and some decorations. Now since i only played blockland for a month i admit this castle isn't great but i promise my 3rd castle will be alot better then this one and it will be bigger. The reason why there is so little detail for this castle is because I wanted it to look like an old style castle most real castles dont have detail. And for the hill i did'nt pick ramps only because i wanted the castle hill to look blockish after all this is Blockland.

feel free to rate 1/10

Please don't flame I would like constructive criticism so I can learn what to change when i make my 3rd castle.

Well that makes so much sense for them to have a G36, yet they ride on horses and are attacking a castle.

Looks small and no ramps, too blockish.

Blockland can never be too blockish. :D

It looks ok.

Well I mean not enough ramp usages, it looks like boxes all put together.

IT is blockland. Things look like blocks. If you want slightly blockishland go play with legos.

Are you talking about me or Ðænth?

I played on this castle it was awsome 9/10

I like it very much. I especially liked the stained glass window.

Some things to improve on might be the use of sloped pieces to make the hill look a little fuller but other than that fantastic build 8/10.

Yea if he would used ramps you would bee saying that its ramp spammy...

You don't rate builds on framerate.

I remember this build!

It was fun to play in, exept that you were spawning over powered weapons, and using them aganst us when it was supposed to be a medevil battle.

While jungle ranger and havoc were constantly kicking me for "cheating" when you guys were the ones playing unfair.

Gah I didn't see pictures right never mind about the ramps. 8.5/10

If you don't mind, I'm only going to comment on the castle itself. The exterior certainly doesn't look too bad at all, and the effort put into the outside hill shows to quite some extent, though the path leading to the castle entrance looks tacked on. The interior however could use some work. Some areas(Like the crate room.) look filled with props while others(Such as the throne room.) look too empty, judging by the screenshots. Certain props look out of place, like the guard rails, red carpet and black floor. use of strong primary colours in contrast with the surrounding white and light grays is displeasing to the eye.

And realistically, for a castle, having that ramped roof going from it's side to the very top is a very bad idea.
