The topics name is bit misleading.

To get your avater to show goto-> Profile -> Forum Profile Information -> And click browse -> Then you just search the picture from your computer.

The picture needs to be 75x75 or less.

You shrink a pic to 75x75 and browse your shrunk pic and you change it.
