The latest wave of TF2/Portal updates from Valve seem to have broken GMod. I'm looking into this and will hopefully have it fixed before the end of today.

Update: The problem has been found and a patch is being built.

why do you taunt me with various gmod thigns when i cant get it. ohwait, 24$. ive got a question. is Gmod always have the same ragdolls/objects if your applying it to TF, CSS, or halflife? btw, awesome pix, both urs

i was thinking CS:S. i like shooters, and teamfortress seemed like the graphics were sorta bad. what is CS rated? i know TF is T, but is CS:S M? cause the first time i palyed half life i was kinda freaked out from the dark razor blade store wiht the ehadcrab zombies everywhere.

You only get the props of the games you got. HL props and NPC's are default though.
If you don't have Portal, TF2, CS:S, DoD:S or Ep2 then you won't get those props.

4cerial!? half life has the best props, with all the physics and beer bottles. there are also like dozens of mods too right?....oh wait....do i get the portal gun if i only get CS:S and gmod....
ohgawd i ahve a question. if i get portal....which is an awesome game with absolute no lag on my cpu, wll i be able to run gmod with it?

I doubt you're able to run Gmod with Portal, but you might want to take a second look at that.
As I said, HL props and NPC's etc are default. Episode 2 Props aren't. And no, you will not get the portal gun or anything else but HL and CS:S stuff if you get CS:S and Gmod.

Ok maybe I should word my sentences more carefully.
By HL I meant HL2, not that really old HL game.

oops sorry i didn't see 'episode 2' in your sentence. i thought you meant HL2 props werent included.

btw, i went to steam, i clicked on Gmod. (therees another one on the list, gmod9, does that mean the reguler 'Gmod' means Gmod10?). it said 'you need a scource engine to run this game. click here to get a complete list of games that meet this requirement'. i clicked it. portal was on that list :D. if you have steam can you please check this out and see if i can run gmod off of portals scource engine?
