Author Topic: Flaming New Players  (Read 3065 times)

I'm getting tired of it, seriously, is it a bad thing that we're getting new players now?  They aren't hurting us, but you flame them to hell.  Just tell them tips about here, ok?  You guys are acting like the combine, not want any new children. (Wow, children actually works there.)

I hate Combine, so annoying

I never flame new people unless they're acting carelessly, stupid, or anything that would get on my nerves

We flamed the guy who tried to help them. I think it was Bushido or something like that. He made a topic on tips for newbs. We flamed it alot.

I got flammed like hell for the first to days I was here.  Then I was banned for two weeks.  But the point is, flamming beats sense into people fast.

Funny thing. This already happened to roblox. Make your new players feel like crap before they make Blockland's community full of "robloxians"

Flame the flaming flamers.

FLAME THE FLAMING FLAMERS WHO USE FLAMES TO FLAME FLAMERS WHILE FLAMING!

i only get 1 flame a month (see my profile)
but i try to be extra nice to newer members in the community, no matter what they do or say.

I only flame handicaps.

If someone comes in my server and asks a handicapped question ('does iphone call peeple?', 'how do i build', 'where do i get mods') I just answer 'Use common sense' and ignore them.

If they're SERIOUSLY whiny, I tell them to GTFO my server and never return until they have a brain/played tutorial/figured out that there's a link to the forums on the same page that you downloaded Blockland from/etc..

Learn to be helpful, bastard.

It would help if people's mothers did not let kids onto the Internet before they learned how the forget to do things. The Internet is not for a bunch of idiots who have not learned that a thing called a tutorial can help you do stuff. All you need to do to learn the basics of Blockland is click a simple link that goes to a part of a game that teaches you to do stuff.

this is what i dislike about myspace and other such sites.
they offer email, messengers, blogs, image hosting, forums, "web pages"
so its the perfect thing right? well maybe for the computer illiterate, however for the general use of the internet, its a bad way to learn. using everything half assed and low end don't last forever, and meanwhile your the whore of a single company that would have you believe there are no other options.
