Author Topic: Another Build Stealer on The Loose (Read 2801 times)

Today was an average day on a friends server when Mr. Block comes on. He says did you give rykuta (ID:4523) permission to host the OC Obstacle Course. I said no. Mr. Block said that he was hosting a server with both that and Pload's Prison Escape and a TSA challenge. So me and my friends (Leo and Auron who was building an app) decided to take off our tags and go check it out (Block was banned because he was in both clans that made the challenges).

So we are there and we spawn and sure enough they were there. Ploads Prison Escape was just being cleared. And the TSA was being loaded but only there for a few seconds so i got no chance for some pics. Then the OC course went up and Auron managed to get some pictures which he is sending to me and I will post later. The point was he said that he helped make almost all of each build. This was not true for OC and he also had no TSA tag on.

So just throwing it out there to watch this guy in the future. Clearly something is strange.

I do agree with Bisjac cause he didn't say he made the OC Obstacle Course or the TSA thing. And there are no rules about loading other peoples stuff on your own server.

Lets say if you are going to do a project, you spend 20 days on it. A person steals your project and took credit for it, and if your teacher said for you to have your own ideas, then you might either go to detention of boot camp for you being falsly accused of stealing. It goes the same way for building too.

I agree with you on that, but people who steal builds don't know how to build at all.

Well lets put it like this:

You spend a month working on this amazing build. You know that with all your hard work that it is a 10/10. While adding some finsihing details you open it publickly to see your work. Some average guys comes on and really likes it and thinks it would be a good way to raise his reputation. He saves it. So you are still working on that final stuff and he posts on forums and hosts his own server with the build. People on the forums see it and they go to his server and the are freaking out about this build. Then you go to post and everyone says "omg you just added some minor things to a great build!"

Because lets face it: A lot of people have become famous/poplular/well known on Blockland. What if their builds were stolen?

They weren't, stop assuming so many things. People don't become famous on Blockland solely because of building skill. Everyone who matters will know you built it.
