Are you saying it isn't?

You said that as if it was not made of wood.

Comments appreciated.

That's looking really good :D

This is looking so awesome. Is there any way I can help? Like making images you can print, cut out, and put on it near finishing time? Making mining stuff for you?

Unless you can find me a complete rivet pattern, no.

Pro-tip: There are around 65,000 visible rivets. I plan to draw these in CAD and have a CNC punch them into thin sheet metal.

I "Googled Around", and found what some of the rivets LOOKED like. I don't think there would be a complete pattern.

There would, but it probably lies in some random office in belfast. I might have to improvise on a bit of it and go by photos.

i guess its pretty good. FOR ANTS!!!! *slams the model off the table*

it needs to be at least twice that big!

In that case it would be 12'4" long and weigh about 100 lbs. That would be a bit absurd unless it were for a museum. :-(

What do you plan to do with this thing? Just keep it for display?

Yes, unless a museum wants to pay me a rediculously large sum of money for it. I already have a 7' shelf for it. I believe it's made from mohogany or cherry. It will look nice on my wall.
