Events for the next version.

After reading Blok magazine 2 or what not, a question came to my mind.
The snippets of the V9 event systems that were provided were pretty much commands, so when making a certain thing in V9, do you actually have to type out the code in a certain manner or do you select from drop down boxes?
If neither, what exactly do you do?

You select from drop down boxes.

Sweet, that'll make it a lot easier.

Can you code new content for the boxes though? Like the Wrench ui.

Speaking of which, is there a new tool for it?

Adding new events to the drop down lists is easy.  You use the wrench.

Will you release this, please? People have been psyched waiting for v9, and it has been a long time.

no, he wont release it

Do you honestly expect Badspot to just turn around and say "Oh yeah here, have a chunk of v9 to play with!"?

no, he wont release it

Thats what I'm beginning to think, you lovey beast.

Uhh... not really. It just seems for him to be taking a bit long. But then again, Firefox 3 took 3 years, but v9 won't have 13,000 updates.

With such a huge system like events, A lot of work needs to be done to make sure they can't be used to compromise the integrity of servers.

See: Space Guy's Wrench Events. Spawn a couple of grenades, and the server crashes.

I heard from a secret source that the only things left are a few various bugs and v9 just needs a new installer. No lai.

TRUTH IS NOT WITH US! YOU ARE LAI!

No. I'm going to probably get banned for this, but Nitramtj leaked me the info, and Nit isn't known to lie.

I don't think its sensitive information. Badspot just doesn't want people to know what kind of state its in because if it appears to be almost done, everyone will get super hyped but he may find a new bug or something which delays it, and people get bummed.

Alright, but that's all I heard. A few bugs, a touch up on the installer, and it might be released. Who knows, maybe there will be another bug.
