Author Topic: I Was Thinking...  (Read 5910 times)

Well I have been thinking about how Ive only been here two days, havent said even one mean word (except for five minutes ago and that is something Ill explain if you continue reading this) and I believe like 10 people just made total idiots of themselves... At the cost of the feelings which I had left.
I personally think Blockland's new "jingle" should be Blockland - Good Game, stuff Community.
I joined these forums to meet people who would actually be nice, unlike most of the users on the actual game.
I guess I made a mistake.
Go ahead, flame me, make yourself look like a total moran, I dont really care.
I thought ladios was actually a good person.
I guess not :D.
What do you think of this community.. Seriously... Tell me.

Rex

I think that if you don't have the balls to face the challenge of building respect, you're stuff.

P.S. LOLFLAME.

Well it has a youtube type of community, but I could handle it. :D

...
I think that if everyone here besides Kody Cash and like 20 other people werent starfishs and followed most of the rules this wouldnt be a problem.
Oh, and also if people like you had some respect for other people.
And while Im at this, hi Kody.

We made fools of ourselves? When?
Even if we did, at least we aren't guys that look like ugly girls.
We have rules, none of them say that we can't mock guys who look like ugly girls.
And we do have respect, just not for guys that look like ugly girls.

I seriously don't know why everyone sees this as such a huge deal. If you see someone be mean to another person, that has no effect on the community as a whole. Just grow a pair, and loving ignore it.

You claim you hate everyone, yet you demand a sort of respect from saying this? If you are going to go out and say "I hate everyone." I'm pretty sure you aren't going to be very much welcomed in ANY community. Unless that community is a large, depressing, hell hole of hate.

Also , when any community grows, it gets its fair share of starfishs and/or idiots, you are going to get it no matter where you go. The only places that wouldn't are either, very VERY heavily moderated, not big, or not fun in any way. I know it may seem Blockland is not all that friendly, but it's not that it isn't all that friendly, it just takes time to get respected (for most).

Now here's whats wrong with you, you've been here two days, and are judging the entire community. You press enter after almost every damn sentence. You expect to be welcomed with open arms into a small, rather unified, community.

Now the good things. You have fairly well grammar, with decent spelling. You are nice to the people who don't have a lot of respect. Both of which things are kind of scarce in the community.

I think that if you don't have the balls to face the challenge of building respect, you're stuff.
This is an awesome quote btw.

Most game communities are stuff. Live with it, it's the internet.

forget you guys for thinking you have to build respect.
your not l33t around here, think your so badass giving a hard time to anyone new

Were not giving him a hard time, it's his own damn fault for looking like an ugly woman. He shouldn't have posted his pic in the first place.

So what if he was "ugly", you still shoudn't give him a hard time.

many of you guys post pics with your emo-homo girl hairdos, but its apparently is ok if you got 2000+ posts.
this guy wasn't even being nooby

I hope this wasn't directed at what I said. But it is sort of true, to not get flamed, sadly you need to gain respect. It's all true to a certain extent, you can gain respect in one post really, but respect is different to everyone. Me personally, I do have a certain respect for this guy, enough to where I am not going to flame him.

He's just pointing out things many new member don't.  You get through it, eventually.

Go ahead, flame me, make yourself look like a total moran[/size], I dont really care.

Oh the irony.
