I don't get what you are trying to say; When you post on a forum, the whole point is for someone to reply and have a conversation with about said subject, no? So someone getting involved with what you said is only the point of the forum.

Well then you better get your tissue box ready because it's history lesson time. Since 9/11 there's been the War in Darfur. Every heard of it? Didn't think so. It began in 2003, and there have been so far been an est. 200,000-400,000 dead and 2,500,000 displaced. That is 66 times more people dead than 9/11 at the very least. I mean are you handicapped, or just that stupid?

Indeed. 9/11 is not as much as a tragedy as the Holocaust, but that doesn't mean that people shouldn't care about it at all. I saw a tower collapse (through a window) during my second grade PE class. Hearing that people don't care does hurt.

I do care about it but believing that we weren't totally in on it is handicapped.

There would be a lesser chance of a secondary attack if people hadn't blown it out of proportion. It's called terrorism because they wish to instill terror. By acting like a bunch of bawling babies every time a couple of guys give you a "boo boo" all you are doing is encouraging them.

9/11 was hardly a world changing event. Terrorism, hate crimes and genocide has occured across the world (especially in 3rd world countries) for centuries. All this was was an eye opener for a rather large bunch of ignorant people who care more about owning guns and the stock market than global affairs.

If anything, it was a good thing.

There hasn't been a direct attack on US soil where more than a hundred died since WWII, I believe. (I'm not including embassy and consulate attacks.)
