the ak-47 is for my dad (who has been shooting since he was 8 like me real guns too) so he doesn't need anything fancy.

I have never seen a real gun, I really want to play airsoft, it sounds alot of fun :(. It looks awesome too. My sister knows ppl who play paintball every week, maybe I will tell them about airsoft lol.

Exactly what I was thinking, but I was half afraid to say that.

I have done both, they both have their ups and downs. I would believe airsoft would be more for people that cant tolerate pain as well. Airsoft is cheaper and cleaner though.  I prefer paintball any day mainly because since you know it can hurt a lot you are always on watch. Airsoft is better for people living in the city while paintball would be better outside of urban areas since it can be messy.

They both are for outside areas, to me airsoft would pwn, paintballs easily leave a big bruise.

Thats very good for the price although the gear box is most likely plastic.
