The fact of the matter was and still is, TBM had the capability to harm your Blockland directory. There's really no debate about their malicious functions. If you look back, almost every staff member of TBM involved with coding either disappeared (i.e Satan) or denied it religiously (i.e Kier). There are only a handful of people who use v0002 and an even smaller number that still play TBM. Even TBM's section of mixnetworks was subsidized and is pretty much desolate (basically one guy raving about already present add-ons packed together as if that makes it special). Now if you fit in RTB and its development crew into that equation you get even more squabbling, like small children arguing over who is the better child. Add AiO in there and you have your whiney stereotypical little brother wanting everything you have, and the consequences that come with that.
To recap, let's use a sports brown townogy (a fairly watered down one, what?... I'm tired..). There are two runners, one slightly older than the other. Before the race Runner A decides to throw the race; and eliminate the competition by shear force, by taking steroids (bad choice), Runner B plans to just do his best (safe choice). Before the race officials run a drug test, and what do you know, Runner A is found to have abused steroids. Therefore Runner A is thrown out and caste is shame. Runner B runs the race and finishes. But then Communists come and ban racing (those bastards!).
Who do you think has a better reputation after that, and can be trusted with the security of your (in this case) Blockland?
The "Mod War" fiasco was like a shock wave, the ripples still were present up until Retail Blockland was made public. That's where it ended, that's where it stays. Let's leave it at that. If you want to dream about TBG; go ahead, although you have a better chance with Duke Nukem Forever.
I hope this is the very last time we mention this ever again.
