Because if it was free BL would have more five year old's like you in it and as well BL wouldn't be updated as much due to the fact of no profit.

Blockland costs money just like roblox costs money to do dress up your minifig, both the creators are selling the games to make money to produce it but blockland isnt in alpha while its getting sold.

roblox dosent cost any money to get it it has a thing called builders club and only that costes money
