Ok i have been trying to host a server, but it is always dead, im not sure if im doing this right but let me give you a screenshot of were I've forwarded my ports

ip adress 192.168.1.103
default gateway 192.168.1.254
if you need any other info just tell me and ill try to get it

idk how to help u but i do think u should maybe not have that information up people might hack :cookieMonster:.

It's just an IP, don't stuff your pants over it.

I don't think I can be hacked with this info, but can anyone see what i am doing wrong?

I had this problem ages ago... For me it was Windows firewall having a spaz...

If you are running Windows firewall:

Start>Control Panel>Windows Firewall.

On the Exceptions tab, click 'Add Port...' and enter the details:
Name: blockland
Port: 28000
TCP/UDP: TCP

Do it again, but this time click UDP, see below:

Name: blockland
Port: 28000
TCP/UDP: UDP

While you are there, check to see if Blockland.exe is on the list.  If it isnt, click 'Add Program...' and search for Blockland.exe and add it.

It seemed to not matter whether windows firewall was on or off, but this fixed it.
I am not sure what to do for vista, but shouldnt be too different.

Best of luck.

Thanks for trying to help, but it didnt work... can someone help me, i used to be able to host,

I had a different router that i could host on, then it stopped working, and now i have a new router.  Oh and dont give me a link to www.portforword.com because that is the site that i used to forward my ports.

I'm not sure because I just made a quick glance but are you sure you told the router to forward those ports? Some routers make you define a service (which looks like you just did), and then choose the service in some other section. In my Netgear router it's called 'rules'.

Turn off firewall. That's all I got.

I forgot but what website is that? I seen it somewhere before...

well here is another pic, mabie thatll help, my computer is hoggiedog50, my dad named it if i remember right, and i have no idia why there are two on the list so that may be the problem

Bump because i really want to host again

I just checked what ports the game says you need to forward and it says "28000-28032", even though the port forwarding tutorial says 28000-28030. Try forwarding those last 2 ports is my best guess.

nope sorry didnt work... getting ticked off though

The max players you can have on a server is 32.  1, the host, is not counted, because of obvious reasons, and then remember to count the 28000 port on your count to 28030 makes it 31 ports to forward, which therefore, makes it 32 incl. host.

Did you check if you computer is turned on?
