10 days left. I'll be 15, which is the official coming-of-age in most countries.

I've never heard 15 is coming of age. � Don't find it that important.

It is in virtually all spanish speaking countries. The "Quincienta" or whatever (forgot the spelling) is basically the equivalent of the whole "sweet 16" thingy. Often times its when parents allow their kids to start dating or whatever.

Kids in my grade have been "dating" since 4th grade.

13 - ability to make babies arrives (sometimes sooner or later)
15 - you can work at the local grocery store (if your lucky)
16 - driving and/or working for the slimy underbelly that is retail America
18 - Voting, military duty, real life (possibly)
21 - Drinking, liver failure (if your a handicap)
22 - Nothing, you can already legally destroy your body with almost any substance imaginable.
65 - nothing says your old like receiving a senior discount

In Texas you need to have a hardship case to be officially employed at the age of 14.
