If it slows down your computer that much, you must have either lots of spyware and adware. Which means, gtfo the donkey research sites, and clean up your computer with Spyware S&D and Crap Cleaner.
Also if it does slow you down and you don't have any viruses, your computer is too slow to even play Gmod!
