Gun Add-ons

WHAT ARE GUNS
THEY ARE JUST FOR KILLING
FOR KILLING
SO OVER-DONE

No, But seriously, We are getting far too much guns, And a very  little amount of vehicles, Maps and tools!
Make something NEW please, Blockland modders!

Not only that, but the weapons coming out are completely unbalanced. Not to mention they're all automatics and cause lag.

I find the sniper and the rest to be over-used in servers, I don't see the big deal with gun Add-ons.

I understand how the unbalanced ones might piss people off, though. Which is why I at least try to balance mine out.

Weapons are easy to make in comparison to maps and vehicles. As a logical conclusion, more weapons will be made than maps and vehicles.

It would be nice to have add ons separated into different categories like the rest of the forum, that way I can skip all the gun add ons in one forum and instead visit the vehicles forum.

Exactly.

People also lack originality and it is easier to copy something they've seen elsewhere, say a war FPS, and make it into a weapon. Hence the automatic machine guns that are overpowered.

I want some more vehicles and maps :<

No more guns. We need more melee weapons that do combos, or things that will finnaly make a difference. And most of the machine guns are cheap-ass weapons that ruin deathmatches.

Melee weapons in torque are handled just as poorly as normal weapons. If you check the script you will see that swords and such are really just weapons with a really short range.

It's true. You still have a projectile. Your arm just waves a bit.

You could make the melee better yourself with just torque script alone.

I agree.

I agree.
That's the way RTB is done.

I strongly agree with this.Do we need a "No crappy gun edits"rule?
