FYI
i was gonna make a huge project at least more then 100 pages long called Animated: the epcist adventure

it starts w/ Jimmys morning routine, the he, Jenny and Willy go to a garage sale, he buys somthing call the ruins diamond, if were to fall into the wrong hands would cause ruin to the earth

thinking its rock candy he eats it

somewhere near the edge of earths atmousephere, in a ship, someone has been kepping an eye out for this diamond, and sends his best hitman to kill Jimmy and retrive it (hes really detailer compared to others)


after a few 10 or 20 pages, and problems (caused by Jimmy) Willy and Jenny finnally get pissed w/ him and Yell and scream how much they hate him

jimmy doesnt understand, but when Jenny slaps him across the face he does, he releazies friends dont hit each other, and runs off, the others try to keep up and try to aplogize, but Jimmys already too far away

I am with -Nick-. If theres one thing I have learnt, its to not take comments from the internet too harshly.
A while ago I used a thing called Game Maker. I made a magazine for it, and it failed because of the better competition. There was a blog that used to rip me apart, so I trashed the idea. Instead, I changed what I was doing and decided to listen to the community. In the end, I managed to still do what I love but get good response.
I tried the magazine idea again, but for Blockland community. I made 2 issues, then decided a blog would be much easier for everyone. Not everyone liked the idea, but people still read it, so its worth while.

Making comics and content that aren't Blockland related and posting them on a Blockland forum probably won't get you much attention - unless you actually made a BL comic that people could relate to, I don't think you will get the best response. Heres a comic from my blog, made by one of my authors Reactor Worker. Take some tips from it. Its short, sweet, and true.

Yoshi you shouldn't stop drawing just because some members of the community insult your work, all that matters is whether you like what you are doing. You should still keep an open mind to criticisim though, and the best way to deal with it is to sort through the insults to find out what other people are trying to say. You will never be able to get everyone to like your work, but you can get the majority of people to. And keep in mind that some people will insult you just to bring you down. So keep doing what you are doing, and try not to take other people's comments too seriously. I've been dealing with criticism for years now so I know what I'm talking about lol.

what you do, is make a simple website for em, and update it weekly with a new one.
build up a mailing list of people that want it.

i had a friend that did that, people would visit once or twice and forget about the site as hes just some no name guy.
but every week an email reminding them of the new comic would be out, and linking them back to the site.

its not huge really, but its got a healthy community
it dont have to be of top quality to have a person check once a week, people arnt THAT busy that they need to be so picky over their 5 minutes lol

A buncha handicaps were making fun of me because of the lisp in my speech, I don't let it bother me none, Hell, in ED, someone made an article about a forum I go to, and had a list of notable members, I being in it, and I actually found the stuff they wrote about me funny, I even pitched in some.
