City builds are cool. and i love cash mod. but TDM isnt on my adgenda

Every newb makes a city build with cashmod ):
They over-used it

I vote to abolish gun shops from City RPGs, forever!
If you can't kill, then its not roleplaying, I like to play the role of "murderer". Another thing is when you kill and then the admin jails you before the police even catch you, its not realistic.

I've seen a couple that have a separate "Robber" or "Thief" or "Gangster" or whatever team with an evil disposition. It could have worked, if the cops didn't kill them on sight.

Umm, clearly you don't know what "Roleplaying" actually is http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/roleplay
Basically what I'm saying that RPing is based on people using the game to pretend to be someone else. It's kind of like acting; you don't think of what you would do, but what your character would do.

I like freebuild and DMs.

You obviously have never played D&D, you can do anything, you can even screw a dead Philippine woman you found in a barrel in a sweat shop. < My friend did that once, he got AIDs.

You assume the attitudes, actions, and discourse of a murderer.
_____________
But really the problem is either the host has no idea how to roleplay, or the players have no idea and think it means DM or mass orgy.

They didn't say get rid of killing, they said to get rid of gun shops. I agree that there are way too many. I blame America...

I chose other for actual Role Play.

get rid of gun shops
True, I get tired of being in like a Lost RPG and somehow they can afford to make 5000 guns and rocket launchers.

I think it's just an excuse to make item spawns...

I think we need more gamemodes.

Make a note of it. Maybe I'll make something stupid, and uninteresting yet unbelievably fun & addictive.

We need more gamemodes that involve building.

Hm....

City build/ rpg! But those always end up to be some noob who has no idea what an rpg is..

That isn't stupid, uninteresting, and unreasonably fun & addictive.

I think that's a reference to Grifball.
We need something equally stupid and fun.

What is Grifball?

My plan was a class based minigame where you try to haul bricks from a center pile to your base and be the first team to build X amount.

Classes:

Rocketeer -- Defensive
The slowest class, but wields a powerful(modified) rocket launcher to eliminate attacking troops.
 100 HP
 Hauls 3 bricks per load

Runner -- Offensive
The fastest class, carries a pistol(modified, has spread, less damage, faster shooting).
 80 HP
 Hauls 3 bricks per load

Builder -- Support
Medium speed, can outrun a Rocketeer but is outdone by a runner. Used for hauling. Carries launch-wrench(pushes people back, useful for escaping and launching allies up to the front lines)
 100 HP
 Hauls 10 bricks per load

Each class also carries a stealer, melee weapon that destroys an enemy brick and adds it to your load.

The idea is that your runners are in enemy lines, stealing their bricks and intercepting builders, while your rocketeers are defending your builders and your bricks in general, and your builders are busily carrying loads to your base.

Or something like that.
