I want to get a desktop that can handle Orange Box and so on. Does this look like it could handle Garry's Mod and such? http://www.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/inspndt_530s?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&~oid=us~en~29~inspndt_530s_anav2~~IbxXEw_9&m_3=2GB62&mo=3~2GB62
Yes I know it's a Vista, I can't find anything else though. Also, I'm on a budget.

You'll need a new graphics card and power supply to get Garry's mod to even run.

OH, and also the fact that its a dell.

Ew, Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 - No!

I figured it'd work. Any suggestions? I can't get anything very expensive.

Dells are good, this one is still running really good  :cookieMonster:, but a vista, dont get one I heard about them and they don't sound good, oh yea dont get a Mac either.

If you haven't tried Vista, you can't say if it's good or not, so shut up.

Have someone whip you up a $600 Computer from newegg.

yah if your budget is a tight 600, you can build a far better comp then at least this one.
try for 800 if you can, you can prob get 6 times that computer's "power"

Get an emachines. Most of them come with Nvidia video cards, and AMD processors. The one that I have ran around 500 bucks and can run Trackmania with an average fps of 35-40 on most tracks, and Blockland on 60 fps, even with loading, unless its some amazing USSR build.

Only if building your own computer isn't an option.

I have the Inspiron 530, but mine is the thicker one. It can play Gmod just fine. I can also play HL2 and such.

I used to have an emachines. It literally just exploded one day.

And I also have a Dell, cept almost every part was changed out on it, so it's completely awesome.

Wierd. I was just thinking of swapping stuff on it out when I can afford it anyway.
