Okay, i know that i cant downgrade and stuff, but if i bought a pandora battery from here: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.12472 and have it reset the psp, would it also mean i could upgrade my psp, so i could get a custom firmware?
I would like people to help me 'cause my psps boring.

Yes, it does.  You could find a guide and make your own pandora's battery if you wanted to.  It can be reversed.

Ok, thanks for the reply, but not to be rude or anything but,how do i know if your telling the truth, i know that sounds kind of rude, but i dont want to wast $10

Well, if you don't trust me, simply search Google yourself.  Pandora batteries allow you to downgrade your PSP, allowing you to upgrade to a custom firmware.  If you are worried that the seller is trying to pass off a fake product, then make your own Pandora battery, with a guide of course.  There are plenty of resources on the net.

dealextreme = trustable site.

Well, im not worried if its trusted or not, i saw the reviews. And nige said its trusted. But the problem is that on my psp, i cant upgrade, it gives me an error. But i was thinking if i were to use a pandora battery would i be able to upgrade, even though before i wasnt able to?

Yes, you can not go from an official firmware to a custom one unless it is a firmware that they have hacked, and if you use Pandora's battery it will downgrade your PSP to a firmware that has been hacked and then you will be able to install custom firmware.

do you guys know any firmware that DOSN'T require the pandoras battery?

Just buy the pandora battey from deal extreme, Its only 10 dolors and you dont need to mod your old battery or anything. Custom firmware is worth it.
