Nerf sucks. You need to get airsoft. you can get decent guns for about the price of nerf guns, and the ammo is cheaper. Not only that, but you can get cheap
$20 lpegs that are much for fun than nerf. Also I found a way to make cheap easy to make airsoft grenades. You shouldn't waist your money on nerf.

Nerf is an amazing game.  I play airsoft as well as nerf, and both are enjoyable.  The ammo cost of nerf is cheaper when you figure in how many BB's you use, and nerf darts are more reusable (unless you plan on picking up all of your BB's).  Nerf doesn't leave bruises or welts, and it doesn't break down into a loving sniper war.  The nerf guns are easily modifiable, ask Zerves to show you some of his sweet guns.  Nerf is definitely not a waste of money.  Airsoft is only better in your opinion.  When you compare stuffty $20 lpegs vs dual $5.99 modified Nitefinders, I can only see one choice that makes sense.

Airsoft would get annoying, and more expensive for most people. Depending on the shot power of a gun, it could roast a hole in your clothes/uniform.

amazing. All I have right now is a small pistol, fires once and can carry two bullets on the bottom. What we are doing for our war, we will use the person's house who's is biggest as our war area. Some rooms will be restricted, and all people not related to the war won't be able to come out of the room they claim to be in, unless to run to the bathroom, if not to get shot by someone ;o.

Nerf is a funtastic game! Like ONeill said, I collect/mod Nerf guns. My best guns can shoot 100 feet with the barrel level with the ground.

Here are a few of my best/favorite guns from my collection:
