Remove old drivers. Make sure it is gone.

Install new drivers.

Play.

I did that on the upstairs computer (removed the drivers) it pissed about, then I ended up doing a system restore to get the driver back!

Badspot, What I have done IS:

Run the .exe file

Allowed it to save the first thing to ATI Technologies.SUPPORT or whatever it wanted to defaultly.

Run the Catalyst install thing.

Rebooted as it says. Nothing happens.

Is there another step after this?
